Colour scheme is perfect and the added touching the fire blast will be great for visuals on the ground. Ride capacity for such a busy park sucks. Love the rush of the ride. Looks like the mountaim is getting a frost look. As for the skyflier piece of land. It gives space for a future coaster to run through it, over the entrance and maybe leviathan. Every time they go through other coasters it adds to each. As for the minute and a half. You got to remember that it takes longer than that to unload and reload the coasters.. with they added one more car to each train or made it a four wide.

I don’t think Wonderland cares about capacity. I went on The Guardian a couple weeks ago… short line, but took FOREVER! None of the tv screens about the ride’s story were on. Constantly had to stop and reset. One train had only 2 out of 8 seats operating because the guns didn’t work. It’s apparently no longer 3D, the sound is trash, and it’s now so light inside the mountain you can see the screens and ride mechanics. A few years back it was a great ride with a faster line. Why do they keep it open if they can’t maintain it? I figured they didn’t bother because this new coaster going through the mountain would mean getting rid of The Guardian, but the video shows it’s still there.

I think the fire aspect on the top of the mountain was just for show, I personally don’t believe that there will be a fire aspect since Canada’s Wonderland has steered away from pyrotechnics ever since backlot stunt coaster’s fire part was taken out. I also think it being on top of the mountain being near the trees and foliage as well as the riders and vortex it may not be as ideal on windy days. For them to turn it on and off depending on the circumstances it would be a pain.
@jasonstamp102 ай бұрын
I was kind of hoping for a taller top hat type of element as the turn around element at the front of the park to be visually impressive since the park doesn't have that but I like the shape of this one. The length and twists and turns are pretty good but the actual ride time is always so short so hopefully it's fun and worth it with that inevitable long wait time. Hopefully they are really efficient at loading and unloading with such a low train capacity. I like how this interacts with the mountain, Vortex and Guardian. The mountain does look in better shape in the rendering though than in real life lol. I'm going to assume that this likely won't be accommodating to larger riders since it's another lap bar train, so I may not even be able to ride it anyway. I wish Wonderland would be more accommodating with their big rides like the couple of seats on Yukon Striker or like Disney and Universal is, or have more rides that use shoulder restraints like Vortex and Dragon Fire.

Not a huge fan of inversions, just to claim a record, but these kind of inversions are much preferred over any of the 80's-90's looping coaster inversions. As for weather it’s opened or not for winterfest Kennywood typically doesn’t have their premier rides launch coaster with Sky Rocket opened durring their Christmas event and I think our winters are warmer, and on colder days durring phantom fall fest Sky Rocket runs slow, so keep in mind it probably won’t be able to be opened for winter.
