@@basedthoven yea the blocking needs to close more....im sure he can work on it
@kypermk54582 жыл бұрын
@@basedthoven I think invisible is a bit of a harsh statement if you pay attention to the pace of Frances game its incredibly difficult for any middle to seal the block completely, yet he is still doing an incredible job at it. Blocking in middle is already difficult enough trying to read their entire offence at once.
@victorreis48842 жыл бұрын
@@basedthoven he was keeping up with most and getting good touches. He just needs more adjustment in the air as he opens his arms too much and the ball sometimes goes through the middle of them, but apart from that he has been doing pretty good moving fast to the pins. For first time middle playing against national teams and especially against a fast offence like France he is doing really good.

I've been watching TWU vball for a while and Howe always stood out to me. I always wondered how he would be in the international stage because he is onthe shorter side as a MB. But he is so fking fast and jumps high, he's amazing ! Glad to see he is an even better play in the international stage than in college!

Can someone shed light on what the big differences between this system and the previous one are? To me it doesn’t look that much different other than more variation in the middle…and maybe more unpredictable decisions on 2 balls.
@kyuujuuwang2 жыл бұрын
Looks like their offense really sped up before used to be high balls to the pins now they’re almost shoots. I’ve also noticed they’re setting pipe way more and waaaay faster even compared to teams like the states which use the pipe a lot.

Mainly speed and decision making. I believe you can find an interview with Benjo from Everette where he talks about he wants Canada to have the middle/pipe dynamic be the focal point of the entire offense.

I’m going to respectfully disagree - the court surface itself is made from the same materiel as GerFlor, and it’s a state-of-the-art floor that provides proper support and give to the athletes who are jumping on it all the time. Compare this to the venue they’ll be playing games at, where it’s GerFloor on Sport Court, sitting on concrete. I guarantee you the players prefer this game, lines and all.
