I like the new additions to the A team. The new libero Currie helps covered the hole left by the absent of Bann. Also very happy to see Herr move from B to A team. His setting & location of the ball looks so smooth. Overall Canada block defense looks a lot better.

new look for the Canadians; the new libero is a good addition and their transition is a lot smoother than the last time they played in VNL. Kudos to the coaching team. Of course, #7 is my all time favorite. :-)

Only a few now. Last year's team was filled with them because of the coach. Glad he was let go. This team is so much better coached and much more prepared.

This is a good angle to view from. Like back in U18 club. This gave me a chance to actually see Luke Herr in action. I am a huge Brett Walsh fan (coached against him when he played club), and was dismayed when he was dropped to the B team. But Herr looks really good setting pillows to these hitters. He’s doing simple things that are effective.

This "new" Canadian team is clearly superior to the Josephson coached team from 2022. No offense to BJ, he was using a bunch of his inexperienced Trinity Western players and the team suffered badly. We have a bunch of our veterans back which are going to help this team regaining their confidence. The only notable exclusion is Sharone Vernon-Evans, our OH beast. He would've made this team so much better. Still Sclater is no slouch. Our new lib, Currie is absolutely phenomenal and is a worthy successor to Bann. The only player I wouldn't start is Demyanenko in the middle. I put Szwarc in there as a tandem with Van Berkel.

Whats wrong with Demyanenko? This is the first time I've seen him play but he looks great. Hes athletic, quick to transition, good service, I like this style of middle

Demyanenko is nowhere a weak link in this team in my opinion. Dude has been rocking it. Plus, Szwarc is an OP now. Don't know if he would want to play middle.
