I would start from the bottom and work up for better coverage. Also if you cut them longer pull they through and knot them in the middle you end up with 2 strips for 1 length. Helps break up the outline better

Hi Desmond,nice video as usual! Well I want to join the reserve as officer but I hesitate between INFANTRY officer and ARMORED officer. Which will be more easier to join please and which one asks less work as I am not young anymore(am 49 years old)

I am planning on becoming a Dental Officer in the military. Currently I am a second year student in university completing my undergrad degree. I am looking to join the military but seeing as how I am not yet accepted into a Dental school and so cannot join the DOTP, how would you recommend me tackling this issue. Should I join a NCM position and just finish my BMQ training on the weekends and summer and then later on switch to the DOTP once I get accepted into Dental school or should I do something else?

Yea pretty much. You can enlist as an NCM in the reserve force and then commission later after you got your degree.

Is that net special,made to fit your helmet or is it a piece you cut to fit. Also be nice if you show hooking the plastiç tabs to the inside of the helmet which looks like our old PASGT helmet aka Kevlar aka Fryz helmet from back in the day

It is a piece bought specifically for the helmet, I just got one at an army surplus they are quite common.

Sgt. Morgan out of curiosity do we get our kit (uniform) on BMQ? I've been parading virtually with 32 Sigs for the past 3 months and expecting to do BMQ in May, unless they push that date back. Likely in Toronto as a 32CBG reservist, but they aren't sure yet.

@@Nicolas-cu2xv hey buddy! congrats! Are you reserve or Reg? which element and unit?! The enrolment ceremony is anti-climatic, but you will soon be contacted via email by your unit on what to do. You will do virtual lessons for a while until they can bring you in when theres no lockdown restrictions in youre area, and / or you go on BMQ. Best of luck! I enrolled almost 4 months ago!

@@Nicolas-cu2xv Hope it goes well for you buddy congrats from Toronto I lived in Montreal I believe where your regiment is located 15 years ago when I was 6 years old. Montreal is in lockdown so I believe for your virtual parade you will use Microsft teams like us or zoom, webex, etc. They will first help introduce you to your troop in the unit, and then induct you in. I had to do some online DLN courses which are essentially military courses you do online, and you then parade in person attending lectures and lessons taking notes. They can cover many different things specific to your unit. Hi sorry this is not a question about applying scrim netting I have recently applied for the reserve unit in my town 'A' squadron British Columbia Dragoons (March 11), and called about different job/Careers that are available the same day but no answer. The next morning I got a call from an attached unit; the 39th signals or the 6 Intelligence within the 39th armored brigade and got my CFAT booked for March 25th. I have read and heard it can take up to 3 months for the CFAT, with that said how fast could my process take?

@@desmondmorgan3389 Thanks, as much as I would Love to be a armored soldier with the BCDs doing scouting as a Signal Operator or a Line Technician I would be doing more of a support role for all elements I hope my CFAT level is good for what they're looking for if not I wont Care, I would be happy to do any job within the the forces

Hi Desmond , I would like to get some suggestion from you 😔. I am regular force member just finished BMQ and now waiting for trade training, but now I change my mind that I would like to work as reserve and I know there is a three years contract position. I was wondering for my situation now . Do I finish trade training then ask for component transfer or I can ask for ct before trade training? Thank you so much.
