These are the 78th Highlanders from Halifax, Nova Scotia's Halifax Citadel National Historic Site. Well done!

They were originally The Halifax Regional Police Pipes and Drums. Then they lost the sponsorship.

These are historical interpreters from the Halifax Citadel, they are based out of the 1800's hence the old rope tension snare drum.

Didn't the English allow the scotch to have bagpipes after they banned them from having them? Hats off to the English then.

The English love to appropriate things when it’s convenient lol

Where did you find that ghetto mil band snare upgrade to a pipe band snare
@tylerduncan94936 жыл бұрын
rocketry1000 it's for reenactment purposes since that's what pipe bands used to use, and considering how the band above was formed to represent the former 78th highlanders pipe band (not to be confused with the two grade 1 bands that share that name)

PSHHHH modern snares sound like a can of beans, these sound way better IMO, full of grit, blood and guts.
