Having lived in Canada for over a decade during the 90's, this song takes me back straight back to Totonto's Q107 Psychedelic Sunday playlist, with the car windows rolled down and the warm summer breeze in your hair, nothing was better than hearing this song blasting through the stereo at full volume as the pedal hit the metal. Thanks guys for covering so well a true Canadian anthem ✌️

Bill, you are very gracious. Your version with Taylor James on her show just a few months ago is the one that I can't get enough of. Chills every time.

Thank you Bill. Found your group showcased on KSHE 95 FM St. Louis in 77 on the Hands Across the Waters Program. Recorded that 1/2 LP of Dreams Dreams Dreams (The show would play 1/2 and LP as the showcase) on my Akai 280Dss quad tape Recorder thru my Pioneer QX 949 Quad stereo. That set me off to St.Louis and later to Peoria IL. to find what all else Chilliwack had to offer. By the Time I found Opus X I had most of what you put out. Only ever found 1 of the Collectors LPs during that time. But I have almost all the other Chilliwack on LP. Over the years when I go to a used record shop if I find a Chlliwack LP i buy it. I have multiple LPs of many of them. one of the hardest to find besides the 1st Chilliwack LP with the Indian Mask was Breakdown in Paradise. I love all of that LP Breakdown, but 148 Heavy always gets me going. Be Blessed Bill Henderson. You have blessed me over the years with your music.

THAT WAS AWESOME! Have loved and heard this song all my life, and only now as someone has been playing guitar the last 35 years, I just learned how to play this killer tune watching this. Thank you!!

I thought it was great. The fact that it wasn't 100% perfect, polished and over-produced is a big part of the appeal. Keep 'em coming!

I taught at Our Lady of Peace school in Maple, Ontario and to be honest we sang about everything even math. I swear that there is a big group of kids who are now grown which I am pretty sure that they have to sing "the multiplication song" first that I wrote before they do any math. Ironically one is a banker so it must be a pretty fun place to work i think. ;) Several of my students did go onto music careers as we just wrote songs right out of our heads and produced our own music. We even wrote a song for Maurice Bevelaqua who turned out years later to be the chief of Polics for the city of Toronto "Thanks Mr. Belvelaqua ...thanks for all ya do for us ... but remember to keep one foot in Grade 6. He loved it and we performed it for him when he was just a city counsellor back in the mid 1980's and gave us a little certificate and think some pencils maybe but that kind of musical encouragement stayed with the kids. This song here and the whole Chilliwack repertoire totally influenced me as another Canadian kid and they just let loose with no fear and that is what me and the kids would do in class as other teachers made kids sit silently in rows. Omg we had a blast at my little school of rock and roll. Yes I did all the 'proper lessons" as well but for a while and I put Chilliwack's music on and we just had "dream time" which stuck with them! Thx guys! :)

Ed Robertson at the 4:33-4:34 mark intro sounds almost like Neil Young, but still has the Bill Henderson sound, awesome!! The song reminds me of my High School days innocence...when this song came out on my AM radio, both of which have long gone.....sad, but glad to hear this song again!!!!

the high pitched guitar harmonics over the acoustic guitar at about 30 seconds in on the song are missing....they kind of make the song stand out....and the led guitar solos didnt reach the speed or pitch of the original....and the last note wasnt near the high pitch ring of the original (was it a chime or glockenspiel that made that sound?)....but overall a very good sounding copy of the original....

Sorry its not Bill ,its not Ed's song ,the singing sucks. Suggest you go over to Taylor James if you want to see the song done right. The acoutsic playing of the song is not correct either theres a walk up and a walk down

Meh. A lot of unnecessary moving parts. For a group of experienced pros, I expected much better. I’ve jammed this song out with a group of hacks (like me) and we did it better. I’ve also done this song alone with a looper pedal and vocal harmonizer and did it better.
