It is not about the tariffs. The president of the US has made it clear he is using the tariffs to try to force Canada to give up its freedoms and become a colony of the US. The US is showing a great deal of disrespect to the people of Canada, Greenland, and a host of other countries that use to be strong allies. Yes, it is sad we are at this point given the long history both countries share.
