Hi Alanna it’s mee ! Have you noticed that we Brits don’t order drinks by brand or name? Typically we ask for a ‘Gin & Tonic’ then get bombarded with questions about , which gin? Which tonic? ice? Lemon or lime? . In the US they are far more specific I.e. give me a Gordon’s and slimline Tonic on the rocks. I once went into a pub in Suffolk, into the Public Bar and asked for a G & T. The barmaid looked at me like I’d pee’d on her kids! I went through to the lounge bar with my drink to find that the whole bar was dedicated to gins. They had 1500 different gins, 20 different tonics, numerous sorts of fruit. The world of gin is enormous ! Can I recommend you try “Warner’s Rhubarb Gin” with ginger ale. You’ll love it - hopefully. Byeee.

About 10 years ago, I was on a backpacking trip, mainly through the Balkans and Eastern Europe. I spent 3 nights in Tirana, Albania - a must!! Me and some of the hostels guests went bowling. I wanted a beer, but the hostel manager told me that with every game you get a free G&T. Every game costs about £2!!! Whenever gin comes up, I always think of that time 😊
@lbailey96075 жыл бұрын
Charming as always! I too suspect that there were a few rehearsals for this video but it did result in a highly professional final product. The ratings were very helpful. I shall get rid of my bottle of Bombay Sapphire immediately - probably by drinking it to make room for another bottle of gin in my drinks cabinet. I think you should either try gins with elderflower or try some shots.

Bombay Saphire! Perfect for extra dry martinis, gin and tonic, and gin gimlets! Great stuff!!! I do believe this might be the smoothest gin available. The Gordon's gin we get in the US is a well drink, not premium gin. It's great for sweet mixed drinks.
