Hi, thank you for this, me and my common law partner have lived 5 years together, but not anymore for now but we get to see almost everyday, reason because of we having plans to relocate to Canada, we schooled in rural area, with which lived together, but the system is that we get to pay cash on everything, which is the house rent, gas fee, food and did our phone bills. Please how do we get to prove that. We've been together for eleven years now, we've got other prove apart from shared bills and same address.

Hi Donovan! Thanks a lot for the information you are sharing. I'm planning to move to Canada through Express Entry and the program is that my partner is going to join me after I settled down. What should I declare in my profile? That I have a partner and he is not coming with me to Canada? Or I should say that he is coming even if not right away?

Hi, regarding the scenario of at least 12 months of living together. What if your partner went to another country for a travel/vacation for a month in that 12 month. Would that be still considered?

Good morning. I am a Canadian citizen since 2001. My partner from Romania joined me 6 months ago under the family reunification program. Can he convert his TRV to a Work Permit in order to work while the required 12 month period for common law sponsorship transpires? Thanks very much.

Wow what a video... amazing information. I want to ask you something really important, i will really thank you if u can answer. Im currently in a Common Law relationship since 2013, we have a daughter together since 2017, and we even traveled together to USA and we have a common law certificate, but saddly im still legally married to another person, and couldnt divorce because we lost contact. I got married to that other person and we were living together in USA back in 2009 and we got separated in 2012, i left USA and cameback to my country and then i started my current relationship. My current wife is going to apply to study in Canada for a period of time and we want to enter together (me with a work permit), but in my common law form i need to fill a question (number 11) wich is asking if i was previously married. I dont know what to do with that. PLEASE HELP.

Hello, In my case, I am in New Zealand. I got married in 2019 December and stayed with her for only a few days. I came back to NZ and applied for a visa for her. Unfortunately, Immigration NZ has stopped overseas applications and still now, it's not open. I am very frustrated and planning to go to Canada via Express Entry PR. Am I eligible to include her in my Express Entry profile as my spouse? OR I need to show the living together relationship with her for at least one year? We had a culturally arranged marriage. Thanks so much in advance for your advice.

Hi , This is regarding Canada pr application situation. My Partner (primary applicant) and me are applying as a common law partenship She will be in Germany till Dec 2020, AND I will be in Germany till March 2021 We are expecting our ITA in the month of (Oct) we will be completing exact 12 months of common law partenship on 30th Sept 2020( rent contract as a document proof). Post ITA, We will provide our documents proof while in Germany. So we are in dilemma about the further process How it will work when we are not in same country for the biometric and passport submission? Will it be an issue? Or (primary applicant can do it from India and secondary applicant can do it from Germany) Thank you in advance ☺️
