@ I was fortunate enough to visit 7 countries in 2024 alone. Funny tidbit: I visited 12 different currency exchanges in those 7 countries looking for a 100 Yuan banknote for an art project. Not one single bill to be found. 🤣 No one bothered with it. 1 place even laughed at me for asking. 😂😂😂

This is so horrible and unimaginable. Going on vacation and you hope there is some standard of care, but there isn't. They dont think you are "just fabulous." They dont give a crap. Never, ever, eat at a buffet in a hot country. Even the fruit salad.

Sorry for you unimaginable loss. I hope these court "tests" results in massive compensation, a public apology and processes/procedures that protect others.

How on earth are they going to prove negligence with sanitation in a buffet one year later?

This is weeks after a canadian got put in coma their at a resort. My deepest condolences. I have been poisoned and this makes me furious. The sickest lustful drug fueled miscreants have no shame and cause the world soo much pain.

Secondary causes likely implies they died of dehydration. This is very easy to guard against and anyone traveling to that region of the world should have loperamide on-hand. Very sad.

Dehydrated. Still the hotel should have provided immediate assistance.

To be fair unsafe food handling can and does happen everywhere. A not insignificant number of food workers don't even believe in viruses and basic medical science.

About 8 years ago I walked into a holdup happening on the beach during the day, it was very unnerving to encounter two masked men and have a shotgun pointed at my face.
