They didin't eat enough for the spice to build up. Habanero chili is slow but does build up with the more you eat it.

The kids are so cute getting only itty-bitty pieces of the spicy chicken! LOL As a Filipino kid who grew up eating Jollibee, I think it's a tie with Popeyes when it comes to fried chicken. But the thing is I only go to Popeyes for their chicken. I go to Jollibee not only for the chicken, but also the spaghetti, aloha burger and thee peach mango pie. I'm curious what their reaction is gonna be if they try those!

The fact that they compared it to Popeyes says it all. Jollibee is coming for the jugular, that spicy chicken is so addicting, they're gonna change their mind later on. I didn't like Jollibee at first back then, I always eat at KFC for years, now I couldn't even think of other fast food chain to eat other than Jollibees.

Tbh, I find that there is a weird taste to Popeyes I think it’s the oil. I tried it several times and I still taste something I don’t like. I think I need to taste it in the US or Canada to find out what you guys are describing as delicious.

Im a lover of jollibee fried chicken and yes popeye is the closest with regards tk the crisy part.😁 but yah wud have been better if it was a blind taste test.

To be honest, the last 2 times we went to popeyes (2 diff branches) we were dissapointed, their chicken was too dry. We used to go to popeyes , not anymore.

I've tried Jollibee, KFC, and Popeyes... Jollibee is hands down better. But Korean fried chicken is still the #1 overall best IMHO.
