I was here a few months ago near the yard and saw a train sitting at a signal. It was night time though after leaving Venice Beach so I did not see it. Just the rear light.

You should record on the P/V line from Riverside to Perris but trains run more in the morning. Schedules in the Afternoon are like waiting centuries. (Riverside Downtown, Hunter UCR Park, Moreno Valley March, Downtown Perris, South Perris)
