I have an elderly aunt. Lives in Ottawa. She had a bad fall last night and broke her leg really badly. Her son lives with her. They had to wait 6 long hours for an ambulance. Yes 6 hours and many calls to 911. Is our Emergency services that over burdened that you leave an 86 year old elderly woman on the floor for 6 hours with no explanation for it. She suffered immensely. She and her son, my cousin are traumatized over it. I have sent out an email to federal health minister, Ontario Health Minister, premier Ford, Pierre Poilievre, The head of Ottawas paramedic services… and media. They will not sweep this under the rug.

This China move to flood markets is not new. I worked in pulp and paper many years ago. Our sales rep went to China and came back to report that they had been stock piling massive inventory. When the economy took a dip in 08 and we experienced soft market conditions, they flooded the market with pulp for cheap and essentially closed many mills across the country. They then naught up a bunch of these mills and sent the equipment over to other places where their operations were located. That was the end of my career in that industry.
