Tip: because you have to jack these things so much to exceed the travel, orient your wood blocks fore and aft (front to back) when jacking. They won’t roll on you that way. Plus, I give you one season, and then you’ll be calling Shock Therapy. ;)

Front A arm and rear swing arm guards are probably a must for your machine seeing some of the hard stuff you hit
@jasonelder80894 жыл бұрын
They have the best cages for factory machines, i rolled mine 3 times. No bends or dents
@BlownBudgetOffroad4 жыл бұрын
That’s good to hear!
@Stupidwon12345674 жыл бұрын
Shit I hit a tree sidewalk at a good rate of speed and it didn't hurt the cage much. Pretty impressive for how hard the hit was. I'll build a cage for it soon but I feel very safe with factory cage.
@p0weraid4 жыл бұрын
The wildcat xx has the best factory cage, x3 is 2nd.

Glad to see your starting out with the proper suspension settings. Seeing as the tire pressure settings were kinda out to lunch and suspension settings were having lunch with the tire pressures; might be a good idea to check the rest of the machine over with a decent torque wrench. J.F.

Yeah I hear ya there. We gave it a decent once over. Couple more upgrades then time to find some weak links lol

As we learned after the first 100 miles the springs will sag. I suggest adding at least another inch of preload. Have adjusted ours twice now due to sag!

Fox shock tune must do. Line wheel bearing must do. Lube driveshaft must do. Love my X3 rc 2019. World best belt must do. Then your ready to have fun. Like the channel and even more now that your in a x3. Keep up the good work.
@craneyguy4 жыл бұрын
Oh one more I went a half turn more on the front shocks. Fast and slow compression and the rebound runs good at 15 front and 17 rear. Takes that rear jump out when your in the air.
@BlownBudgetOffroad4 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! You’d choose worlds best belt over oem?
@jamesworkman6864 жыл бұрын
@@BlownBudgetOffroad definitely go with world's best belt. Check out Rocky mountain ATV or SXSBlog for great deals on belts turbos tunes ect. Or evolution powersports
@craneyguy4 жыл бұрын
Sorry about the Line word should have been Lube. Yes that belt is awesome. Shifts almost the same as the oem and it won’t heat up as fast as the oem.
@redwatts95354 жыл бұрын
For peace of mind and to prevent nasty things happening it's a good idea to remove each wheel and caliper and pump 6-10 pumps of grease into the wheel bearings. They come notoriously lacking in grease. The over the axle grease tool is cheap and easily available online. There are You tube vids on it

Do your self a solid and get aftermarket front control arms, and gusset kit. I’m not sure if orb makes stuff for the x3. But if they do. That is a great option.

Unfortunately the arms are needed for pretty much everyone. The stock are real weak. Just like the Polaris! I know a guy that folded lower arms on his brand new x3 at the dunes. And he was trail riding fast.
