I'd think they would have improved the ride height specs in '24 the same way they corrected the X3's in '22. Subsequent video review says mixed results.

That's going to be a PIA to adjust every time you change from sand to dirt setup. I will wait for proper springs and add some bottom-out resistance in valving. Good for tinkerers to spend quality time in the garage.

I put my dirt tires back on and the axle angles remained the same

Did your rear end buck more after this adjustment?

No. I think because when it's low it's closer to the bump zone. Raising the shock (increasing preload) put the static height back in the plush zone.

Where do you get the spec for axle angle? Why do you choose 17-19 degrees?

yes. rolled the car backwards and forwards several feet, rolling forward last.

Where you not able to lift the front of the floor and then just "screw" the lower springs? That way you can move whole spring essemble up or down as you desire. No need to compress the lower spring to take tension of the nut. This way you only have to use the "spring nut too"l to lose or thighten the lock nut I at least have used this method on my X3 with good results. Can't see why is should be any different on this new model

Then they should be so little tension on the springs you should be able to screw them by hand. Also if it can be avoided, it is better not to force down the adjuster nut on aluminum shock body threads.
