Excellent message gentleman. I try to be the voice of reason to my circle of influence at home and at work. Seems like a lot of people are STILL asleep behind the wheel. I’ve decided to use this time to sharpen my skills, learn the terrain in my AO and focus on personal fitness. I’m in Appalachia and the folks here have the right mindset but putting that into action seems to be a misnomer for some. God bless y’all 😊

Don’t discount the framer that I saw this morning, balancing on a frosty rim joist at -22F, or the local musher exercising her team. Those folks know how to stay warm. You just figure it out, over time. You don’t have to be seal team six m, special forces pipe hitter to know how to stay warm.

We can't take victory laps and be idle in preparedness. Winter is upon us, think logical layers that work and almost everyone has a vehicle with some extra space for a shelter tarp, hand warmers, a pair of shoes/boots and changes of clothes and some non perishable chow/water. Make ready to make a difference in case you stumble upon someone in need. Be ready for any outages of electric/water/ internet/ fuel. Hypothermia is a mofo. Be ready and stay stoked!
