@@LT-hg7fc Centrelink (basically welfare) will pay someone for being a carer regardless, depending on how much care he does (so the fact he cares for Pop 24/7 and has to help with hygeine and everything means he'll likely get the max amount) that being said, aboriginals are very family based. Me ex/husband said that, "I have to work and then come home and give you attention." (It's complicated) It was honestly one of the things he said that hurt me the most in that time. We've broken up a couple of times now before getting back together and getting married. Since then he's gotten on anti psychotics and anti depressants. He hasn't acted like that towards me since That ex may just be bad for OP/relationships, he may have some stuff going on that we don't know about. But OP finding solace in finally having freedom to choose what he wants... I felt that

Everyone wins. Pops still has his care giver, and OP has some direction.

As a response to your ending message mark, I was baking snickerdoodle cookies! So thank you for the lovely background noise! :)

When op's mom called to beg that he continue to care for pops...yes of course on the condition you report yourself for false allegations of neglect and give a sincere public apology. Obviously not what op would say/want but I'm more petty I suppose

What right does he have two accuse you of not being attracted to him anymore when you not flirting with him was on his own request

The ex is a freaking hypocrite who is turning into his mother. I bet he's been listening to his mommy and absorbing all her crap.

This is my post! Hi!! I just made this account to say thank you for making this, I had a comment send me here to see it. Your voice is so perfect for readings I ended up listening to the whole thing. Embarassing that I said me and my ex would be together for a long time in the first post 😬

The audacity of the ex and his mother to rely on OP and at the same time insult him for the things they should be doing themselves is incredible. Props to OP with a bright future without them.

It took me a moment to realise that the background is the Marina Bay Sands! That was a surprise, also sending love from Singapore here!

Wow, the only person worth a damn in the partner's family is the old man. I hope he does kick out OP's ex.

Bf mom was blatantly racist. Ex bf sucks and I'm so glad pop is lucid and understands who actually cares about and for him. Everybody in this story really sucks except op and pop, I hope op enjoys his course and the ex ends up living with mommy dearest

From the earliest I can remember, I was told to say "thanks, it's just what I wanted"/" thanks I love it", what is wrong with that woman?
