Hi, Caitlin. It's Renae from North Carolina again. Love your pink azaleas. We have lots of these at our house. Some of them are more than fifty years old. I re-read 1984 when my grandson read it for school in the eighth grade. I don't know anyone who actually enjoyed it. It is rather thought-provoking. Love that Jonty and his friends had a group study. Do you have tropical cyclones at your house? We have had a rather serious storm called Helene that came from the Florida coast to the North Carolina mountains (distance of about 1200 km). Hurricanes just don't normally travel in that direction. There has been massive destruction and loss of lives. Please keep these people in your prayers. At my house we had several downed trees blocking our driveway and power lines down so that we have had no electricity, water, internet, etc. We were very fortunate in that people within an hour's driving distance of us lost homes, cars, and some lost their lives. There was massive flooding. It is a terrible tragedy. Sorry to be so gloomy, but it is on my mind. We left home and are at a location where we are much more comfortable. Hope your trial is still going well. Renae

Hi Renae, my prayers have been with those in South Carolina. We have cyclones in Australia, but more in the coastal areas and mainly in the north, certainly not Toowoomba which is inland. I hope the clean up is going well and the services are back on for you.

Hello warrior lady👋. Love to see big family gatherings. We never had kids, not because of not wanting them,it just never worked out.We have lots of nieces and nephews though😃. Fathers day here in the usa was in june. Still follow cricket a bit but don't get it all yet. Could be i'm a bit thick headed😂. Until next time❤

Haha! I don't even understand all the rules for cricket myself! I'm not the most sporty of people, but I learned a heap last year when the boys played! I knew England and US have different days for Fathers and Mothers Day.

The Australian Bababa candies look similar to our Circus Peanuts. Kind of marshmallowy, taste like bananas, chewy, kind of blech but addictive. Family and friends, good times, the younger generation teaching the elders how to use tech, quite universal. Coming full circle.

Oh that’s interesting to hear you might have something similar to our banana lollies!

Wonderful memories for the family!! Is cricket a form of soccer in the USA?? I am a Yankey but don't follow sports. I watch the olympics though❤ I think being around your family gives you a glow😊 Keeping you in prayer to the Father and Son❤❤

Betty, I love you asked this! It’s a little funny for us! Cricket s an English game with a bat tapped on the ground hitting a ball that is bowled at the batter. Behind the batter are wickets and the bowler is trying to get the ball to hit the wickets and get the batter out. There are two batters and they score runs running in between wickets while the ball is in play. They can also be caught out. It’s quite a unique game, very popular in the Commonwealth countries.
