Went to Cancun last week, we got a good deal through Costco travel for 7 nights at Xcaret Mexico hotel. It was a beautiful and positive experience despite everyone telling us it wasn't safe because of recent crime spike in tourist areas. Our families were worried about us but let me tell you it felt safer than my hometown to be honest. I saw some of your videos before going and they were very helpful. About the visitax, I tried searching for a booth to pay in person but did not find one at the Cancun airport. Nobody asked for the visitax receipt, I did not want to risk paying at the website because of all the information you have to put in and risk giving all that plus money to scammers. Thank you for your videos, keep it up👍 God bless you, saludos!😎

Usially i don't comment on any video but I'd like to say thanks to you. I just came back 2 hrs. Ago from Cancun with my family. Throughout the trip from arrival to departure I have followed your advices and they have been extremely helpful.I am not much into travelling. So I didn't have much experience in out side country. It was our first trip to Cancun and your videos proved to be extremely helpful. Thanks a lot. Latest news on Visitax since I came an hour ago 26 dec. 2024. At arrival and departure both there was a kiosk. They were stopping people and informing them. But they were behaving more like any vendor for travel agency. They couldn't stop everyone. And many people ignored them because they approach them as if they are trying to sell something. They didn't stopped us but since i had paid the fee , i stopped at arrival and departure and showed them QR code. Seems like its not mandatory.

@@darshanjpurohit Did anyone in you party get sick while being over there? I have heard so many things about the water that I am concerned about and I don't know what's Ok to drink and what's not.

@annie_210 yes. My wife and kid got sick on the 5th day ( last day ). They had upset stomach due to something they ate. My doctor had advised us not to eat fruit juices there. We did it on last day and it happened. Fruit pulp or raw fruits makes your tummy upset in cancun. We were advised by doctor and we experienced it ourselves also. Everything else is great. This is my simple advise to you. Its not horrible but just be mindful if you have sensitive stomach.

We have been to Cancun twice and both times used nacho as our private transportation due to your recommendations. The first time was great to the resort and back to the airport, but the second time on the way back to the airport we got to the lobby 30 minutes before pickup time and waited for nearly an hour to get picked up. Turned out one of his drivers had picked up a different family from our resort and took them to the airport leaving us running late without a driver. Nacho did refund us the money for the transportation and the taxi.

Just reached out to Nacho Tours for an upcoming trip. Our need is a little unique - we need the car and driver for approximately 6 hours to pick us up, drop bags at our condo, and then go grocery shopping at various locations like Walmart, Costco, etc. to stock up for a month long stay. I'll be curious what kind of quote I get and will report back for others with similar needs. Trying to avoid renting a car if we can but it may be our only option as private driver for this kind of trip may be too expensive.

Hi! New subscriber here. I love your videos. So helpful and to the point. How much should one tip at an all inclusive in Cancun? Is it better to tip in dollars or Mexican pesos? I am not sure if you have a video about this. If you do, please let me know so I can check it out. Thank you!

Cancun airport transportation is so inconvenient. I'm used to Puerto Vallarta where the buses run right along the road along side the airport and you can get anywhere in PV for almost nothing.

We are flying from Chicago to Cancun with a layover in Mexico City. Will we clear customs and immigration in Mexico City and be able to walk straight out of the Cancun airport to our transportation? Or will we need to clear customs and immigration in Cancun too?

Great video, but as a legal Mexican resident I can say in my 20 years of experience travelling throughout Mexico, tipping is Not 15-20% for drivers. Most Mexicans do not tip drivers, at all, and 10-15% is considered pretty generous and something mostly only tourists do. I do get that you are trying to look after your friend here, and people may tip as they see fit of course, but no, it's *not the custom to tip 20% to a driver and I don't really think you should be telling people that. For those of us who live in Mexico, creating a culture of excess tipping just by the gringos makes more issues than it solves. Anyway, my 2 cents on that touchy topic, haha...enoying your content overall. :)
