Just got back from Cancun today. I rented a car from a local company and it’s the best way to get around. Drove to Playa Del Carmen( more culture), Tulum, and Chichén Itzá. I speak Spanish so that helped a lot.

@@Phidboi there are many. Look for them on google, Marios Friend and Yuki car rentals. There is more options in the hotel zone you just have to talk to the right people. Cancun is tourist place so prices are negotiable. Have fun.

Im mexican (living in Monterrey) and I haved visit baches on the pacific coast and are way more cheaper than Cancun, places like Puerto escondido Oaxaca, Puerto Vallarta jalisco , sayulita nayarit.. But the water color of the caribbean side of México 😍 omg makes it worth it🤑

Im In Xpu Ha right now, by "cancun" i mean the all invlusive resorts of the riveara maya not just cancun city, Im staying at Barcelo Mayan Palace right now and its bomb asf Iv been swimming with rad turtles for the first.three days of our trip everyday they are out there , guess thiss this thd right time of year to see tons of them and went to a great place to snorkle called Yal-Ku today it was $28 for two for entry and $5 to rent a locker, crystal clear water and lots of cool fish, the big blue ones were plentifull there

The R1 and R2 buses are cheap 12 pesos and they drive fast and are friendly. If you want to visit Playa del Carmen ride the R1 or R2 to the ADO bus station and buy a ticket it’s only $7. Don’t be afraid to walk around, shop or travel. The people there are helpful and friendly

Cancun is beautiful. I would highly recommend it. I was there two weeks ago and it was great. Head to Puerto Morelos if you like to snorkel and go see some Mayan ruins. It's a good place to fly into then get a rental car or travel by bus to wherever.

Hurrican season is a little misleading. They have very few hurricanes. It's mostly just rain.

I would rent a car over a taxi We traveled to St Thomas recently and even driving on the left side of the road it was worth the savings Our friends spent at least $1000 on a few rides for the week versus being able to drive wherever you want for a price of $350 plus refilling the fuel tank

Never experienced these outrageous fees in Mexico. Sure they have a plethora of Mexican banks (BBVA, Santander, Banamex, Scotia, HSBC) all around where you can safely withdrawal money for a small ($2-4) fee. This guy is probably talking about a private stand alone ATM in the corner of a lobby. Who even uses those in the US? Why would you use one in Mexico? Just use common sense and don’t be scared away by unjustified reviews
