Yes, Many of us were. The father never paid much child support and when we were together he refused to find steady employment. A good musician yes, successful no. In our case he Did remain involved in the children’s lives which allowed me to work some days at night.

That was so Awesome!! I remember when Murphy Brown made that choice. Living with a single mother, after my dad did what so many do and had up and left, I didn't get why it was a big deal. Jon Stewart looked like he was just about to cry. I honestly can't believe that there are people who support what Trump, Vance, and their ilk vomit out, but there really truly are.

While it is true that music rights have kept a bunch of the older, great shows off the air (seems foolish they can't find terms), I'd very respectfully say if you know how to use the internet, you can find the full series. Just make sure you have an ad blocker & standard internet protection running, and anyone can be streaming it in minutes! I think I may start rewatching again!! PS I can't post a link here, but check for sites that stream TV shows, well, not the main ones lol

My father died in a workplace accident 2 months before my 8th birthday. I had a friend who decided he was conservative, and then Dan Quayle made his statement on single mothers. Unlike the fictional Murphy Brown, my mom didn’t choose to be a single mother. When he tried to parrot Quayle’s rhetoric about single mothers, I let him have it and we almost got into a fist fight. I can’t believe that we’re back in the late 80s, early 90s again having this discussion.
