Loved how Ali made that man realise he's made millions of people laugh and be happy just by doing his job on tv. I hope he left the table with a new perspective.

I keep coming back to watch this vid. It's really a sweet moment seeing Ali encourage Allen. He goes from talking about how great he is, to uplifting and making someone else feel like the man too. "Ya look so dignified, ya look so distinguished" lol sweet. Poignant seeing a man so well known for his self confidence, wanting others to feel the same within themselves too.
@francisapple8 жыл бұрын
It's really a profound moment, it's as though Ali fights with the same will in fights to fight off Allen's sadness ... but instead of his fists, he used his heart.

Gold for any historian-- is there any eight minute statement by Ali as revealing as this? Or as revealing of his values as when he's trying to tell Funt that making people happy works? Or as modest-- Ali "thrilled" to meet Allen Funt? Ought to be quoted in every book about Ali.

It’s kinda sad to put that pressure on Ali. He’s not a psychology major lol. It’s so cute and sweet and says so much about his personality that he cares so much about the people that idolize him. ❤️ It’s so obvious he cares SO much about his fans. ❤️
