Many of the original shows have stayed with me over the years. One of my favorites was at a breakfast counter they had a vacuum pump piped to a small hole drilled through the counter top. The waitress would bring a saucer with a small hole. And a cup, both with an O ring embedded in the bottoms. She would pour the coffee then they would pull a vacuum. She was in on it and would walk away. The man would call her over to complain the cup was stuck. They would release the vacuum and she could manipulate the china, re-wipe the counter and put it right back over the hole. Shaking her head in wonder. Playing him like a violin. Great gag. Many ones that were so simple. Just like this table skit. Many, many years ago. Ideas they could have repealed. Many times.

Aaahh!.....I miss this show! The origional aired probably in the 60's-70's. This one i'm guessing is from 80's-90's. I can't stand the jokes/pranks people do now! I endured physical pain for others amusement. This is the BEST! Now I have to binge watch every single episode of Candid Camera from earliest-latest. Thanks so much!📺😃🤣

Candid camera is a true classic to this day in my opinion, the show was low key, and provided the most bizarre situations, in every day life, unlike today's shows are loud yelling, alot of hype, Miss the candid camera series ❤ Bob.

I saw one where an elevator was rigged to move horizontally instead of vertically. People would get on and it would just move down to the other side of the hall and open. When the door opened people were so confused. Lol

We were on a bus trip and stopped at this exact restaurant with two other couples. The hostess asked if it was our first time at the restaurant and the six of us said, "yes". We were sitting at this exact table and suddenly, the table was higher. We all noticed it and everyone around us started laughing. The joke was on us. LOL It made our day. HA

I want an adjustable table when eating soup. Then, it less distance from the bowl to your mouth. Actually, I do this now by placing a coffee mug under my soup bowl to raise it up. Still, an adjustable table would be fun.

One of the early shows had a big guy sitting at the counter of a diner with a burger and fries. A small male actor sits beside him and starts eating the big guy's fries. After an exchange of words the big guy says, "Well, I've always wanted to do this." And with that he stands up and picks up the glass ketchup bottle like a club! The director comes out hollering "CUT! STOP!!" and explains to the big guy what was happening. The little guy was about to get his head smashed in with a ketchup bottle!
