Thing is, there's a very popular restaurant in NYC that actually serves ONLY duck (been in business a long time). Peking duck, to be precise, a dish that usually requires extra time to prepare, and so they're regularly cooking them in anticipation of the flow of customers. Your table orders one or two ducks, and then multiple dishes are prepared for your table using those ducks as the meat ingredient.

If I were eating there and the waiter went over 15 items, entry fresh duck beak, appetizers is duck a la duck, duck soup with minestromi, full dinner pressed duck under glass, fried duck, baked young duck, duck and wine sauce, marinated breast of duck, duck and onions, duck with asian beans, moo goo fried duck dumpling, New Zealand escaped duck. I'd then say to the waiter: "any duck?"

In Bali, years ago, there was a restaurant that served only duck and kopi lewak (civet cat coffee.) that's it. It was great. The dining by area was a giant thatch duck. Also, next to the giant thatch duck dining area was a giant thatch duck egg. It's gone. Sad.
