Fun to watch young people discover the huge breadth of music that was around in the 70's, 80's, and even 90's. How many people today have even heard of Candlebox? But I've loved their music for a !omg time; glad you like it too!

Kevin Martin (singer for Candlebox) was a fan of the Seatle band MotherLoveBone, and good friends with it's singer, Andrew Wood who died of a dr*g overdose. Kevin started the band Candlebox as a tribute to Andrew and most of the songs on their debut album are in tribute to Andrew, as well as having an anti-drug message.

This song is a pain in the butt to play until you realize it's in 7/8 time. It doesn't sound like it is. It has a feel that's a quick 4 or jazzy 6 but it's not. I don't know how they figured it out to play an odd time signature but have it not feel like one.
