Candlemas from Ripon Cathedral

Candlemas celebrates Christ's Presentation at the Temple and the Purification of the Virgin Mary.
After a quiet 2021, this ancient Ripon tradition returns in 2022 as 7,000 candles are lit across the building - the backdrop to stunning music and liturgy. Thank you to all who made this possible.
