I really enjoyed this investigation. I've been experimenting with Ghost Tube and I have had some compelling responses. You did ask for a name and it gave you one 🙂 even though it wasn't an old name, it still counts in my mind because you asked for a name. It could be a wandering spirit not necessarily connected to the time the castle was built. I've recently been doing a lot of experiments with triggers. We did an investigation of a local historical location with one of the family members saying her grandmother used to talk about dances and social gatherings so we downloaded some music that people in the 1800's would have heard. We also sang some hymns that would have been sung in that era. It was a very interesting night and every since then we've been using triggers when possible. The outtakes were hilarious 😂

I have spent many nights camping n Merthyr Mawr woods at Candleston (upto 10 consecutive nights at a time)...when it is quiet, there are alot of odd noises and most of them, that weren't made by animals & birds, came from the sewer works, the village and the farm ...the sea splashing on the beach, although it is a mile away, can still be heard as well at times depending on the wind direction.

Love the sincerity and realness of your content, Beardo. So refreshing. But here’s an angle that I don’t think we kind of contemplate: these spirits, non-corporeal energies, whatever you wanna call it, inhabit a local, I think, because of an overwhelming response to either their life there or maybe death. What if someone approached the location like, “hey, I’m so and so, I’m an investigator and I would love to communicate with you. I’ve got some equipment I’d like to setup and use to help us hear about you. Are you cool with that?”. Something along those lines because basically the interested party is dropping by unannounced to where these people live. I think if I were in the deceased shoes and was holding on to a physical building, landmark, etc…because I could not let it go, I’d still like to be treated with a little consideration, maybe bring a gift/offering so I’d be comfortable enough to bother hanging out with you. You know? An investigator that actually wants to know what the deal is, interested in me and why I’m haunting the fack out of this particular place lols. I mean, they’re just people…without their bodies 🤷‍♀️❤️

Stayed in camp site ,there around 35 years ago. May not be there now . Great in day time with dunes, but when night came the atmosphere changed completely. Really heavy with noises we could not explain.
