30+ year old Aussie here! I have tried literally everything in this video! Ever heard of food imports? I grew up on musk sticks, Tim Tams, Cherry Ripes (I have a bag of mini bites next to me!) as well as many American, a mix of Asian, South African, British and Mexican sweets and snacks as we get them shipped things from all over the world. Unfortunately because of this it’s all expensive but sometimes worth it! I used to trade with my Asian school mates their haw flakes, haw leather, and other treats for my mum’s home cooked Aussie snacks and cakes she used to make for me. It was a fun way to make friends and share food experiences. Kinda funny to see so many clips of the channels I already watch in here! 🇵🇭 has a basic version of Pelo Pele Rico - the tamarind candies sold at sari-sari stores. Ripe tamarind rolled in sugar and salt, and wrapped in yellow gold cellophane, you can even get one with seeds. You can even buy sweet-spicy ones. In the province one pack of 10 pcs is sold for Php9. I can eat an entire pack in one sitting.

De la Rosa is the brand, we have other brands of candy makers that make mazapan (mazapanes for plural) but De la Rosa is the oldest and probably the original, also they have them covered in chocolate and they are oh so very yummy =)

The De la rosa Candy is sooooo good! I'm from and live in America but I got my hands on one once and I will never forget the experience. It kinda tastes like jif peanut butter mixed with powder sugar and it melts in your mouth as you eat it, almost littarally! If you ever get the chance, I would recommend trying one if you see it! :D Also, try to keep the wrapper under it as a plate, because it is basically a powder and falls apart IMMEDIATELY after opening.

I’m lucky! Aero is sold in my hometown, in a popcorn store! It’s chocolate, but the bubbles in the chocolate is pleasant when it melts in your mouth. The popcorn store has nostalgic candies for sale, along with different sodas, including Uncle Lester’s Fixens sodas.

I've lived in Australia for almost 20 years now and yes, they do have some good candy here! Cherry Ripe is great but nothing will ever beat a box of concord cherries which unfortunately, aren't sold here. Tim Tams are the first Australian chocolate product I ate when I first moved and oh my God, they are divine! There used to be a peanut butter variant a few years ago but Australians don't go too crazy over PB so it's gone now. But once you open a pack, they don't last long. Musk sticks are nasty as hell but they are very cheap to buy. I'd leave them on the shelf to be honest. You aren't missing out with those!

It breaks my heart to not have seen Polly Waffles listed. That enchanting Australian chocolate bar, with its marshmallow log center that it surrounded by a crispy wafe (the wafer is about the same texturally as a standard ice cream cone) and then dipped in chocolate, was discontinued years ago. I got curious about them after learning that Keith Urban misses them since he left Australia. I got addiccted to them in 2005 when I visited Australia. The good news is that someone has bought the rights to manufacture the treat once again. Robern Menz has announced it should hit the shelves sometime in 202!

I used to always have glow worms as a sweet snack when I was growing up, I was born early 2000's and they would have them in any southern coastal store in the USA, but if you went farther North, you couldn't find them. Nowadays, I don't believe they even sell them anymore, which is a real bummer, because I absolutely loved those 😢

You can get a lot of these in America. Hell, Tim tams can be found in regular grocery stores. Kinder surprise I used to be able to get in most euro stores up until about 10 years ago.

Aero Bars are AMAZING. Growing up in Idaho, and even now it can be difficult to find Aero bars but I have found a few places where I can track both the Chocolate and the Mint Chocolate kind down. Another favourite of mine is Smarties (and I don't mean those chalk-like candies) that I first tasted over in Scotland. The Smarties I mean are kinda like M&Ms but don't taste quite as sweet to me so I enjoy them more

There used to be a candy factory that used to make the “chicken bone” candy. It didn’t have that flavor but I remember the chocolate center and the crispy outer coating. It might have been around the late 50’s/early 60’s at Christmas time when you could get them and they came in a rainbow of colors. White, green, yellow, orange, (maybe) lavender. IDK what other colors. I just remember the candy. I would definitely try the Cherry Rite! Sounds yummy!! I tried those Kinder Eggs and they weren’t impressive.

I would surely want to know what taste and experiences you guys had when eating and drinking that stuff. 2) 5:40 In my hometown in India, I found this version of Kinder egg. I even bought this variety and ate it only once in my lifetime. So, it is basically super and incredibly rare. There was only one of these things in the local supermarket that I went to. Just wanted to inform you people. 3) 1:21 I have not tried out the Cadbury cherry ripe bar, since I do not live in Australia. But, there is one flavour in the Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolates in my country where there seems to be the cherry flavour. And the cherry flavour is in the American Jolly Rancher candy, so maybe you could at least see how it tastes by tasting out the candy which is in cherry flavour. It is cheap alright. 4) 3:03 I could not get the answer on Google. So, can any of you tell how many flavours of Kit Kat there is in Japan. 5) 10:21 How many euros (€) do these candies cost per pack in France. Just asking: And a small favor: please convert the amount in Euros to US Dollars. 6) 4:24 The bubbles in the center of the candy is primarily made of 100% carbon dioxide ( CO2) gas. Alongside the mentioned benefits of taste, preservation, and attractiveness, it may also be unknowingly used as a manufacturing trick tactic : so that there seems to be more chocolatey goodness inside and also to make you spend more money for only little chocolate in the Aero. This same tactic trick is used by potato chip manufacturers where they fill the packet with 48.3% nitrogen gas to keep the chips fresh and prevent it from getting spoiled ( preservation ), but you only get a little teeny tiny bit percentage of chips for the amount of money that you paid for the chips. 7) 7:03 Why does Nestle only discontinue all these foreign brands that our people want.
