The rock hand prints happened when the sentiment was as soft as clay and happened to remain undisturbed until it hardened into stone to become that finger striped fossil wall.. most indentation fossils are made like this, my science class in middle school even had a project where we made our own fossils by mixing clay with craft concrete, we then pressed sea shells, plastic leaves, our hands and other thinks into a baker sheet full of the mix and afterwards when it was dry we shattered the sheet and each piece looked like a real fossil rock..

That man has a real talent. Those photos in the desert are bee-yootiful. Natural yet composed in a way that I, at least, would call "abstract". No, I haven't recently taken my camera out and snapped any photos, but the kinds I usually compose often have that same 'abstract' look. Simple objects, shapes and colors, and combinations of them, that you may see every day, but I tend to take my pictures from odd angles, or 'cropped' in such a way that the subject, which may be a common thing to see, looks more like a simple composition of color, light, shadow, and shape. And then maybe you turn it upside down and suddenly say "Oh. Cool. It's a view down an elevator shaft! At first I thought I was looking at a spaceship about to launch!" Anyway, I babble, but that guys photos of dunes and trees from the Namib were things I'd definitely pay to have hanging on MY walls...

On one of Percy Fawcetts exploration of the Amazon he came across swallows building nests on a cliff face. The swallow had a plant in it's beak and would rub it against the stone cliff face. What ever the chemical was of that plant would soften the rock to a point where the bird could peck it away. By repeating the process the Swallow would end up with a hole in the rock in which it built its nest.

The petroglyphs just look like the stone has been worn away from people putting their hand in/rubbing the same spot over and over for a long time. Hell, doing that even wears down metal. If you look at any metal statue that people touch for good luck or something, the metal there gets worn away. Makes sense for the same thing to happen with stone, especially sandstone, which is relatively soft in comparison to other rocks.

I know the real answer. I love sharing truths. Mudfossil University on yt, goes into an array of subject matter, my favorite is geology and biology, explaining a lot of the unexplainable, imo. For example, Rodger did DNA testing and CT scanning on what people call rocks. Nope, it's biology and chemistry changed, metaphoring into solid rock, usually granite, limestone, etc. Those hand prints were of actual giants. Here's why the big deception. These gigantic saltwater flooded creatures, when decaying, are very pliable, and form gold, precious gems while still decaying. Imo,this is why truth has been hidden in plain sight. Can't have little people knowing where gold can be found, so easily, and what terrain really is made up of. Because that proves genetically altered beings, since start of time. Higher creator, saltwater flood, and we are center of uni..universe (one). However, many dimensions here. Humans can only see 3 5o 5% of what's in front of eyes. Go learn what's in plain sight..Tysons mudfossil adventures on yt and mudfossil University channel. Start with "Tracian giant drowned pregnant" video.

The fidget spinner went the way of the "pet rock" lol But not before somebody made a crap load of money!!!! I've got a true story about an encounter I had with bison in Yellowstone Park. My husband and I were going to Montana to visit family. The route we took goes right thru Yellowstone. It was in winter so the park was actually closed but you could still drive thru because the major roads went thru there. So we stopped in a parking lot for a little break. In the parking lot there was a full sized statue of a bison. I wanted to have a pic with the statue. So I walk over to it and guess what???? You got it!!! The "statue" wasn't a statue at all. OMG it turned towards me and I ran for the car. My husband was laughing so hard as I sprinted towards him!! Needless to say I made it back just in time!!! You have no idea how big this animal is until you get up close to one. They are massive and quick!!! By the way, Yellowstone is incredibly gorgeous in winter. The snow on the landscape is beautiful especially the famous geyser Old Faithful. The contrast between the thermal activity in the snow looks like a picture. Just beautiful!!

Funny story to go with the bison. I was on a bison hunt with my family last year and we ran into a giant bison herd. they were in the middle of the train and our horses and mules were getting nervous. (yes, we used horses and mules. I have my own mule and her name is Daizy. I was on her when this event occurred.) the herd saw us and started to run towards the tiny stream. unfortunately, one of the females flipped over and onto her back in the small creek. since they have such tall and narrow spines and the creek was the same, she got stuck. she was thrashing around and was literally drowning herself. my unkles got off their animals and went over. they grabbed a log and wedged it under her head to keep her from drowning. One of my unkles ran back to his horse and grabbed his lasso. he ran back to the bison and wrapped it around her leg. they somehow got her out of the creak. they all jumped back as she ran to rejoin her herd. the top boss ran over to her to see if she was alright. when he checked her over he looked at my unkles. we didn't know what to do. the boss then did something amazing. he looked at my unkles and sort of nodded to them before returning back to his herd. they stampeded up the mountain and over the ridge. we have never seen the herd again.
@slimothyjames45773 жыл бұрын
I'm sure a lot of people would disregard this story for whatever reason, but I quite liked reading this :') I have heard many stories of animals showing a certain level of gratitude, or even if it was only scenting the air it still went on it's way after acknowledging you and your kin weren't a threat to them at that moment. I think that's super cool and I applaud your uncles for their kindness to that beast and quick thinking! Love it when people help out animals in such unique situations, especially to think of a couple fellas helping out a massive animal like that! Makes for a really cool mental image, I can only imagine what it was like to be there and see that in the moment :)

whatever they did, it could be similar to how the egyptions carved their huge obelisks, statues, and even pyramid stones.

I agree. The material was mud at the time of the handprints. People want to think the "stone" was formed millions of years ago, but here is literally written documentation that this stone was formed fairly recently. It was probably a lake bed that suddenly broke out and drained. The people probably were having fun in the mud before it dried and cemented. Wanting it to be much older, people say aliens did it and weird stuff like that.

@@VeganV5912 I just prefer other foods, dogs don't taste good I don't have a pet and I will still eat meat, get your copy-paste out of here, and guess what in eating plants you drain the animals resources to survive and you talk about the non-existent problem of forests suddenly disappeared due to three people with lawnmowers.

I am amazed that the Rio Claro, if thats what it is, is considered by the narrator as an exiting course. I was doing 100 times more crazy when I was 9 years old. What they showed, to a person who does the activity will see it for what it is, a beginners run!

I theorize that the petroglyphs were shaped this way over many generations of natives passing through and placing their hands in the same area as their relatives and ancestors did. Like when you go on a trip down a familiar road and visit or pass by a beloved landmark.
@marksaunderson30422 жыл бұрын
Like the fact a stone step eventually gets a dent worn into the middle of it because everyone tends to step on the middle of it. As everyone walked past the stone they tended to place their hand in roughly the same place, as it’s the best place to place a hand when going round a corner. Eventually the worn spot became the only place they could conveniently place their hand, if you open a door and it has a handle on it, most people will use the handle.

Back before fidget spinners, there was another scientific gadget that we all had called a Gyroscope. Sure, you had to wind it up, and pull the string just right, but when you did? It was an amazing tightrope walker, and defied gravity if you got it right. Interesting about the spinner's center of gravity in non-gravity. Learn something new every day.
