Tonight I came on here to try to relax, as I have been so tied up in knots over what is happening in our country. There is something very soothing in watching the lathe spin, the resin/wood shavings fly, and a piece of art emerge - under your gifted sculpting. Tonight, Mr. Pohl, you are my refuge from the madness, and I thank-you. Once again, another beautiful creation - apple wood with apple-colored resin. It almost seemed like I could smell the apples.... think I'll go grab some strudel! :)

Your production seems to get better and better, so the adjustments you've made work well! Meanwhile, I love this bowl. 'Candy apple' fits it well, and it seems to have an autumnal feel to it. The red and green swirled up really nicely, and they perfectly complement the pretty grain of this wood. And boy, does it show off in the sunlight! Lovely piece, again!

No question in my mind that this is a piece of apple. And a very nice piece at that. Billy’s choice of colors are very good as well. You execution is fantastic as usual. This is a great bowl. Even with the “mistakes” or “issues” that no one would notice if you didn’t advertise them. Great work as we’ve come to expect. Love watching your videos.

Red and Green are apple colors, too! Wonderful bowl! That wood is just beautiful! I've heard apple is hard to get, as it starts to crack almost the moment you chop the tree down... I've never found any for sale anywhere...but every time I see it, it has amazing grain.
