Candy paint job repair.

This dude knows how to train an employee.. is how ive always done it.. just do the job and talk about all the random stuff nobody told me about and had to learn on my own.. and whether they know anything about the subject or not, when you tell em some of the technical stuff, when they do finally reach that level they have those realizations from what you told em making sense.. i always liked getting the know it alls come in and act like they know whats up and you can just listen to their explanation of it all and not say shit about what’s wrong. Then when you come across that scenario you get to either watch em panic and not know whats up or watch as they screw stuff up and you go right back behind em to fix the issues and make em have that realization.. earns respect and how they deal with those situations will earn them respect in my book..

The "butt match" (Hood butted up next to top of fender) would tell the story how close the colour match was. It would of been interesting to see an after shot, unmasked showing the fender next to the hood. I guess technically this could be considered a "candy", seeing as it's a tri-coat, but this is way easier to match vs a traditional candy that uses a silver, gold or white basecoat, those are pretty much impossible to match, especially to butt batch!

Did you crisscross the base coat in the blend???

Justa Man no need if reduces properly it should lay down smooth without cloudiness. Flick the rist to blend out the base

Manuel Cerda dead panel match. fords Ruby red is considered a candy since it has a ground coat and a tinted clear mid coat
