Before I even watch your video, I need to take minute to tell you how much I LOVED your advent kit. It was the nicest kit I’ve ever received! I loved the extras, including the extra effort for presenting the individual skeins. Such a top notch presentation! The yarn was lovely, absolutely a treat to have. I loved watching the video and seeing all of your beautiful knits. My grandson had exema (sp?), but grew out of it. He, too, also scratched his head. Poor sweet boys. I hope your grandson can get some cream to help him. I know my daughter took him to the pediatrician. He also had an allergy to eggs, which he also grew out of. His twin brother had neither. I wanted to say that I jumped on your store and purchased some sock yarn. I will definitely be back for more! Thank you. Happy Knitting!

I enjoyed your podcast! Thank you for your explanation about the micro-stripe yarn. However, while the yarn is in a skein, it looked like self-striping yarn, that you would get at least 4 rounds of each color on a sock. Micro-striping is usually 1 round each color. You don't need to bother trying to show the difference. You are busy enough. 💞

I see what you are saying. One thing though is that if it is self-striping, it will always be marketed as such because it is a tedious process so it is often sought after and priced higher. If you are buying yarn online and it has the appearance like I showed and isn’t marketed as self-striping, then chances are very high it micro stripes. Dyers don’t often label it as micro striping because it only does that with certain circumferences.

Your Dad might like 'Point Edwards Mitts' I have made several pairs for men in my family, customized the pattern for them. Math involved but not difficult. The pattern is on ravelry.
