This is why while she is the one to say his name in the mirror - twice - he never kills her, only those in proximity to her, and keeps asking her to join him (which she does in the end in a way, by getting killed in the same projects as he was)

@@as1114144 yeah okay but just a random quote makes little to no sense unless applied to a a situation, no one is placing a funeral bouquet anywhere so you have to play around with the setting a words to try to give them a meaning in context. @@liamnehren1054 am not going to pretend to know for a fact what the screenwriter intended - if there was any, but given the origin of the words and beeing placed where someone had been killed, I'd be more inclined to go with having to do with the amount of death the projects had endured and the feeling of perpetual mourning that the people living there felt - but I don't think there's a right answer

Folklore and urban legends have been with us as long as we've been here. Before they started writing stories down they were always told word of mouth, one person tells another, either adding their own twist or repeating it exactly, in town squares, over fires, everywhere, fact and fiction. Same with religions, mythologies and superstitions as well as discoveries. You can't undersell folklore and urban legends, they're a part of our existence.
