I like the way that you talk to them. No shouting, just direct commands. They respect your assertive approach. No fear or confusion. Great work. You can't treat these dogs like other breeds. They need a different level of training. These dogs are not for first-time owners! Well done Jason 👏🏻 👏🏻

@@jasoncorey Love your channel. Great help. Just 1 question... God forbid, if your dog ,or any trained dog,pit or similar physically attacked another dog.. Will it listen to your or its owners command and stop ,or not? As I have yet to see this,live or video. CHEERS ...

We have a Corso (dad), pittbull (mom) mix who's 15 wks. What you were saying at 10:40 about Bruce being able to play tug'o war and win, but WANTS it to be competitive, out little Shiloh is the same, if I eventually let it slip out of my hand, and she wins, she IMMEDIATELY puts the loose end back in my hand herself.. she just wants to tug, not win. I love watching your videos, Bruce and JJ and beautiful, you've done amazing work with them.

when saying heel, you should always start off with the left leg...We had a wonderful Springer Spaniel , who thought he was human..amazing dog.. we just happen to use hand signals along with command... Before he passed he was hard of hearing. We would stomp on the floor to get his attention and give hand signal.. you have awesome dogs.. I notice a lot that Justice always watches Bruce... which very cool.. they definitely care for each other.. watch Justice as he and Bruce goes after the rope, on the ground towards the camera..so sweet

Love seeing this I have a brendle female FREYA who’s 112lb at 10 months I’ve been working with her a lot we also got a brendle male French bulldog Artimus 😂 he’s a little spaz but starting to pick up her training she’s very assertive with him when he doesn’t listen it’s a work in progress my wife didn’t understand the Corso temperament at first but now her and freya are inseparable. Any tips on how to make Freya listen to her more. I tell my wife she needs to not talk to her and argue like they are siblings. She needs to give her a solid firm command lol. But she’s just not assertive.

@jasoncorey2 жыл бұрын
Why do I need more than the basic commands? I don't care for my dogs to do parlor tricks. I care that my dogs are ultra responsive off leash. There is not a need for a bunch of fluff in training.
@NinoTheCorso2 жыл бұрын
@@jasoncorey just enrichment for the dogs. It can be fun. There are a lot of behaviors which aren’t “fluff” or parlor tricks and they only make the dog more responsive. 🤷♂️
