The beauty of and in the "Flow" are rhythmic, relaxing yet exciting movements that are pleasing; one develops great balance and movement awareness, fitness and ambidexterity, and self-protection, too, when explained in context. Really something for everyone here that GM Robaina has developed within ACSD. A real joy. Doc Stull

Thinking about getting a cane as I have a minor but chronic leg injury from the service but I look really young and out of place with one. I used to fence A LOT and recognized the moulinets from the 8 cut saber drills especially the Northern Italian system that employed the elbow for the rotation. How would someone under 40 with a baby face avoid attention with a cane? Would dressing like a little gentleman make it worse?

Thanks for commenting Aggro! - First of all, THANK YOU for serving. We have a few Caners in their 20s and 30s, most are over 50- Avg age at Immersions is 67 some of our Advanced Caners are in their 80s, so you fit right in the range. (Joe Robaina started carrying Canes in his 20s). One of the secrets of getting better with the Cane is to start carrying it more often. Not only will you get used to it, but others get used to seeing you with it too. Outside of people sometimes opening doors for you, your Cane doesn't attract as much attention as you think. The other aspect of it, is once you are skilled with the Cane you walk more confidently with it, because you can afford too 😜 - In the late 90s, when the AP interviewed Joe Robaina, they were surprised to learn most of his students back then were in their 20-30s. As he says, we're all advancing in years, starting young gives you a head start. CaneFlow is for ALL ages. So get Canin' Caner 👊🏻
