He lost the first, they gave a draw to the money man, it was close but even Canelo himself isn't confident he won (evident). GGG was one of the most avoided fighters there was because he wasn't well promoted and a very hard challenger... I'm a huge fan of Canelo but he waited 4 years until GGG was 40 and showed CLEAR signs of slowing down before giving him the rematch despite it being 1-1(Canelo and all the fans know it deep down)... Also, Canelo felt like it was done anyways after the second fight because he clearly won. First fight could of been a draw or gone to triple GGG. But i’m sure the reason why it was a draw was because canelo was making Ggg miss while also countering. GGG obviously was applying pressure but if you’re missing and being countered pretty sure that looks bad. But I wouldn’t argue if someone were to say nelo lost that one since he wasn’t looking all that great near the last rounds. Second right was close but a clear win for nelo.
