Huge gamble for Golden Boy to cherry pick Kovalev at 175. Their hope is that Sergey will get tired of jabbing Canelo and allow himself to be punched to the mid section. Can Krusher remember his prime days and ko Canelo? If he did that would be great for boxing. Canelo is not undisputed champion at any category. He stays away from Charlo and Andrade just to mention few. If Canelo gets his judges to grant him 175 belt then what? Will he fight the likes of Beterbiev, Gwozdyk or Bivol who hold other belts? Golden Boy is bad for boxing and sooner or later their cash cow will end up like Anthony Joshua who also cherry picked opponents.
