There are levels of skills in boxing, this version of Canelo would come up short if he ever fights Golovkin, the Reynosos have been good trainers of Canelo but they can't take him to the next level, Canelo needs new trainers to teach him long, mid and short distance skills, timing and distance skills, foot work, Canelo is still flat footed, he needs somebody like Floyd Mayweather Sr. or Freedie Roach to learn these skills, then he would be ready for anybody, in the meantime he's probably never going to fight Golovkin and fight smaller guys or journeymen but not top all around fighters.
