Jim Ramsay The 4 Canadian F/A-18 will fly non stop to Romania. This NATO Air Policing mission out of Romania is a stop gap measure till Romania finally gets there 24 Second hand F-16s into service. 12 from Portugal and 12 from US.

Not sure if this is an escort or not. The CF-18’s are kitted out with long range tanks but no armament. So their purpose is... ? Maybe a transfer of assets?

The CF plane is a tanker, It us used to fuel the hornets as they travel over the Atlantic Ocean

@@geoff_fps1433 They won't carry weapons during a transit. Only time you'll see weapons on them is in a combat theatre, or in the QRA at home. As has been said before, the Polaris with them is strictly a transport/tanker. Tail number 15001 is the jet that the PM will use. So there is no PM or elected officials on this jet.
