@@andreialama April would be pretty optimal but it's always a bit busy in Bali anytime of the year. Depends a lot where you stay and what you do of course but $2-3k should be enough

I'm considering moving to Ubud for at least month next year, last time I only stayed for two nights and it let me down, one of these days I was really sick and the other stuck in traffic of the centric ubud road, so I didn't enjoy it at all, just cars and businesses, but as opposed to what everyone says I thought the vibe of Canggu and Perennan was really cool. Gili Islands are a must though!
