Great review ! I have a QK60 with a pom plate and PBT keycaps, deciding between this and cloud switches. I want a deeper clacky sound with some depth to it, which one would you recommend ?

PBT keycaps and POM plate generally tend to produce a lower sound. However, QK60 tends to have a higher pitch. Canglan might be better in this regard.

Hi, i'm quite new to this hobby. I have gmmk pro and would like to know if i get this switch, will i get similar level of thockiness? Does Keycap plays a part as well? Thank you

The typing sound is influenced by keyboard specifications such as plate, foam, case material, as well as keycap material, thickness, and switches. Start by trying out these affordable switches and work towards achieving the sound you desire, considering all these elements.

i personally have a gmmk pro and have used the canglan v2 switches on them - the sound is very pleasant. mods in my gmmk pro include pe foam, case foam and no plate foam with 3 layer tape mod - using default aluminium plate and xda profile keycaps. canglan v2 spring swap with 20mm 60g springs (if i didn't spring swap, for some reason the sound will be very unpleasant; sounds like pressing on wet carboard). the sound profile is a nice balance of thock and clack, leaning towards the more thocky side of the sound spectrum.

@@poingggwow, thanks for your input! For now, I will try to get the switch and perhaps another set of keycaps with XDA profile and see how it sounds. Maybe I will try tapemod at some point of time!
