I have an MC9 and have about, oh 750 rounds through. Never once had an issue except pinching myself just as you said. I saw the L and LS at the range the other day so wanted to watch some videos. Canik is so fantastic. The stuff it comes with, the triggers, the price... It's all so unreal tbh. I never even thought about trading my MC9 in until I saw this version. So awesome.

I picked up the Mete SFT last year. I love it! I just couldn't get a really comfortable grip on the MC 9. I'm glad I waited.

Guys, I am a left arm amputee, just turn 71 this 2024. I have been carrying a Kimber Ultra Carry II 45 ACP, love this gun. Very accurate, easy to disassemble for cleaning, smooth shooter. In Sept of 2024 i purchased the Canik MC9 Mete. Has only shot 300 rounds of fmj and hollow points. No issues, i also polished the feeding ramp and cleaned really good. Will shoot at least 700 more rounds before i decide to carry it. I seen around theee videos that are trashing this gun, but up to now is doing very well. I also have the Canik TP9SF wish is what the Turkey special forces carry. Also an amazing gun. I on a Turkish semi automatic 12 gauge shotgun.

What did you use to polish the feeding ramp on the MC9?

Great review, thanks! Snagged an “L” on Saturday at our LGS to accompany my SFX & TP9SC Elites. Love the slight Beaver Tail enhancement, refined mag release button, flared mag well. My slide release is very stiff, hoping it eases with use. Truly appreciate how Canik listens to their customers and makes slight (and usefuL) updates with each new model. My SC’s cut into my palms and print too much so I was looking at Hellcats and Shields when this baby dropped! Accepts all my other Mags… dry-firing, the trigger may even be slightly better than my other Caniks. Can’t wait to test it this week. Holster recommendations?

Had a Canik - Sold it. The grip angle did it for me. But for those who like it, it’s a decent firearm.

do you still have the Taurus gx4 carry? I'd love to see a comparison of that and the new mc9ls aswell as the hellcat pro , if you still have your original mc9 would be cool to slide swap and test the mc9l and original mc9 with ls slide would be a cool review . great content man!!

So far so good. I have 500+ rounds through it so far and zero issues. Shoots like a full size and conceals great. Not a huge fan of the holster that comes with it so I'll probably upgrade but so far overall I think it will be one of my main options for EDC. I'm going to do several more videos on it so stay tuned.
