It wasn’t hard on the wallet at all. I was sorta surprised by the cost to value ratio. A few of the sales reps that I spoke with feel like the prices will slowly creep up over time but that’s like anything else to be honest.

Brief information about Canik. If you look at Canik's website, there is no other product other than a pistol. but there is a company called "aselsan" that supports canik on the back platform. aselsan is among the top 5 defense companies in Turkey. The products produced by aselsan are exported to both NATO and abroad, as well as the Turkish army. is a company that produces weapons and optics for manned-unmanned aerial - land - sea vehicles. including attack helicopter - submarine - warship or fighter jet even satellites. The mechanic optics released by canik are also produced by aselsan-sivas, the arm of aselsan that only works on optics. aselsan-sivas normal is not a company that will produce optics for pistols. They haven't produced optics for the pistol before. they deigned to produce it because the Canik wanted it. I say they deigned because the production lines are full until 2028. In short, the canik should not be seen as a simple pistol manufacturer, behind him is a huge defense industry company that will come to his aid.

Good information, my friend. Let me add more information. You said that you are producing weapons and optics, it is not limited to these. Aselsan production that blinded the Russians (koral) in Libya and Syria. in other words, they have products in radar and electronic warfare. They attacked the French fleet with electronic warfare in the Mediterranean. French warships were towed with the aid of trailers.

@@eriksvenson2290 I absolutely agree. they will produce everything in the pistol class first. for example, 10mm pistols, revolvers etc. then they will switch to assault rifle.

Caniks are great! Lightning cuts do make the slide lighter which makes the gun cycle faster, but they are mainly there for cosmetic reasons. I think I’ve been to the gun shop/range you were leaving. My grand parents live in Gastonia so I try to visit all the comic shops and gun shops/ranges. You should try a red dot on a pistol. It’s the way of the future. They are AWESOME! And it does have a flared mag well it helps with faster reloads.

I definitely like the ergonomics of the Canik pistols and the extra things that come with them you would otherwise pay for aftermarket at a higher price with the competition. Nice grab!

Ergonomics are fantastic. I played around with a Glock recently and it was the complete opposite for me. The wrist cant was too much for me. I’ve been really impressed with the packaging and handing of the Canik so far. Makes me want to get another. Lol.

That is sweet buddy. I have been thinking about picking one up. I am left handed so the holster probably won’t work for me but I am not worried about that anyway. I think that it will be a great shooter with or without a red dot.

I bought the whiteout limited edition. Couldnt not buy it once it touched my hand. Also one of my first full sized framed guns. Put a couple thousand rounds through mine in the first couple weeks. Bout to go pick up a whiteout a Aug as well.

@@swoldiertactical2343 i am defa big fan of the canik triggers and action tear down the size everything about it is literally perfect. Shoots smooth feels good for half or a third of what a pistol of its grade would normally cost. Im gonna pick up the canik rival next time i stop somewhere and its there unless its around the same price as a cz im prob gonna buy the rival and then wait for a done up cz cause id like to have a nice comp 9mm i know the rival is a step in that direction but a nice cz is more the thought of wwhat im looking for i think just havent seen many for sale done up mostly the base model cz is what i see.

Nice pistol! Cuts in the slide help to reduce the weight of the slide, so recoil should be less.
