I just bought one Cleopatra canna yesterday. It is gorgeous! I had red and yellow cannas in California year round. The red one was really fast growing and self-spreading with multiple shoots. But Cleopatra is now one of my favorite. Reminds me very much in flower structure Paradise Bird plant

I bought and planted several canna for the first time last year. One of them had to be this type. It looked just like that with the dual color flowers and leaves. It got really tall too. I was amazed by the dual color flowers. Really beautiful! I saved all the rhizomes over winter in the garage and replanted them at the beginning of May this year. It's got shoots coming up so hopefully it continues to do well and I can grow more of them. One thing I noticed about this one was that it didn't produce any seeds. Does that mean it is a hybrid? I would guess so since it looks like it can't decide which colors to produce.

So cool! Maybe yours are a natural hybridization!

Hello, I have two Canna Tropicana in large pots. One Black and one Gold, but the Gold seems to be the favorite of the neighborhood Japanese Beetles. I've tried different sprays, but it doesn't seem to be a long-term deterrent for those very hungry beetles. What suggestions do you have to save my Canna? I'm in Florissant and just now found out about your business. I plan on making a trip down to Manchester to visit soon. Thanks for any help you may have.

We have not experienced any beetle issue, sorry I don't have a solution to offer.
