It would have been really cool if the season premiers and finales could have been longer, but they probably really didn't have time for that....or the budget? I don't know. I'd love it though if they could make longer premiers and finales! The pilot for My Little Pony in 1984 (Rescue at Midnight Castle) was just twenty-two minutes, which is roughly the same amount of time for the premiers, normal episodes and finales of Friendship is Magic. I kind of wished that one could have been longer, too, since it wouldn't have had to cram in so much information in such a short time. I find myself thinking that for the Friendship is Magic episodes, too. Think Spike is going to start growing in season five? That'd be neat--like if he got wings and got taller. He could finally be more grown-up Spike instead of a baby dragon all the time.
