@@psychoelectric both bands started somehow similar IMO, only Metallica really was very close to sellout phase, CC on the other hand, after "Bloodthirsth" started to release more songs with same pattern, which is debatable. IMO Metallica's "sellout albums" were "Black album" and "ST. Anger", but CC started to sound +/- same after "Kill". "Butchered at Birth", "Tomb of the mutilated"*, "Bleeding", "Vile', "Bloodthirsth" are CC's all amplitude, each is different and unique - sound, concept, etc. On the other hand i can say +/- same about "Ride the Lightning", "Master of Puppets" and "... and Justice for All". Cheers, keep on listening to good metal!

Just bought my vinyl copy from @soundpollutionstore in Stockholm, Sweden. 🤘 So sweet to just blast this masterpiece and chill on the sofa. always appreciated the fisher era of cannibal corpse from afar (corpsegrinder is insanely talented but he never really fit the bill perfectly for me) but honestly the last few CC records have been some of my favourite they've ever released. it's absurd to reflect on how long they've been at it and just constantly releasing killer content. love some of the rumbling growls on this album

Erik Rutan definitely does not disappoint in the least! Heavy as fuck. Rob Barrett stomping ass as always, Alex making it thump, mean drumming by Mazurkiewicz. Changing beats, changing timings, really cool man. I dig it. And George, I don't know how on earth you punish your voice like that and still are able to brutally scream for all these years, but man you never fail to impress me with your growls. Fucking vicious anger from your guts. Screaming like that takes all the force from your solar plexus, when I scream like that I almost pass the fuck out after a while. I don't know how you do it for years but man you are strong as a damn ox, with no sign of ever giving up. Nothing but respect for Cannibal Corpse. Fucking brutal.

Erik Rutan is such a fantastic new guitarist to have. So glad to see him onboard. He writes great solos that I dare compare to Jack Owen and he can keep up with AND MATCH the writing styles we expect of Cannibal Corpse. I can't imagine anyone else filling Pat's shoes right now. This is a great album that certainly marks a new era that will definitely deliver what at least I want, and more. Congratulations on another prolific release. KEEP GOING BROTHERS
