WOW! this is definitely a do again! Thank you! I just wanted to let you know that I (finally) canned up your blueberry pie filling. I had gotten 11 pounds of blueberries. Nine of that was 3 - 3# bags of frozen blueberries. I saved the 4 cups of juice from the berries and just had to add 3 cups of apple juice. I had so many berries that I canned up 7 quarts and made a pie! Thank you so very much. 💖💖💖 I pray for you and your family.

I just leave out the thickener until I open the jar. That way I can use them for muffins or pancakes or just add thickener to make a pie 😉.

When I canned blueberries I used the recipe in my mother's canning Kerr recipe book. Just blueberries that had been dipped into hot water until they burst. Nothing else. No water. Just blueberries. That was for pie. It turned out! I just knew they wouldn't. They did! I am 1/2 inch over 5'.

Heather I got the Cherries. Stuck them in the freezer until the sure gel and cherry pitter got here from Amazon. I now have 8 beautiful square quart jars of cherry pie filling. Thank you for teaching me how!

Thank you so much for this recipe! My family and I LOVE it! Having followed your instructions, everything turned out perfect. All my jars sealed, and the added vanilla was an extra burst of flavor. My partner always secretly wishes that I have too much filling so that I don't have a full jar to process, leaving him to eat the remainder on toast. It's January again. I'm looking toward to 2021, starting with your new videos for newbies introducing us to pressure canning. I received my All American 921 the first week of this month. What a fine product. I can't wait to break it in. With your thorough walkthrough, I know it will be a breeze. After testing the seals, I plan to can beans as it is our most immediate need. Thanks again for all your hard work. You are taking the fear out of learning a new life skill.

I just started canning in July and found you shortly after. What a blessing your channel has been to me!! I made this pie filling and love it! I think the addition of the vanilla bean was brilliant and adds just the right touch! I used the yellow cake mix and my goodness did it ever smell good and taste amazing! Don't you just love pie filling? I canned rhubarb, strawberry-rhubarb, cherry-berry, and blueberry filling last summer. One of those wound up being a little runny, so I just add a couple of tablespoons of instant or quick tapioca to the quart jar of filling when I make a pie and, ta-da!, it's perfect! Thank you for sharing your life with us, Heather. Your videos make my day!

I just made this. OH MY Goodness! I used 6.5 cups of apple juice and a half cup of some vanilla bourbon I made a year ago. I had to free up some freezer space from all my blueberries from the last 2 years from my bushes. Fantastic! Thanks so much for the idea?
