Every year my mum and I went to Blackpool for our annual holiday, every year Cannon and Ball were playing on the north pier , one year we waited at the stage door got their autographs and Bobby walked the whole way down the pier with his arm around my shoulder , chatting away to all around about him , I was about 11 or 12 I think, I’m now 57 R.I.P Bobby xxx

Bobby and his sister would have been on a radio programme, which I remember, called " Workers Playtime" which was from a factory during the lunch break. I have just watched " This is your life" which featured Bobby and Tommy, and it was mentioned that Bobby's mother used to take Bobby and sister Mavis to the nursery that was in the cotton mill where their mum worked.

What a shame that the mainstream media gave no recognition at all regarding the Christian faith and powerful testimonies of Cannon and Ball during the tributes to Bobby Ball.

Maybe the mainstream media has seen the light. I mean, where was god when the holocaust took place, or the Spanish flu, or COVID, or the recent Turkish earthquake? The answer of course is he wasn't there.

Tom and Bob were fantastic. My Mum and Auntie were friends with them and saw them many times over the years. I met them before a pantomime in Oxford in 2014 when they were performing with Su Pollard. They later got me up on the stage to take the role of the vicar in their Robin Hood panto. I was shaking like a leaf but they made me feel at ease 😁😂 I can't speak highly enough of them.
