Looking at this and other stuff from the 1970's is like going back to a different world compared to what it is today.

The number of Star Trek alumni that appeared in the Quinn Martin productions is fun to see. Sharon Acker was Odona in The Mark of Gideon. Had I been Kirk, I’d have dumped The Enterprise in a heartbeat to stay with her.

Me too I used to tease my kid sister and chase her around and sing the theme to her and call her fat Cannonball fat Cannonball fat Cannonball and then I would hum the theme and sing it Da Da Da Da Da Da Da CANNON! 😆😂😉😁I still chuckle till this day😃 and my sister still wants to kill me every time I tease her about when we were kids. Those were the days. THANKS CANNON!!!!😁😉😎🙋💋

Where in this episode, Cannon would get the first of MANY INJURIES in doing Cannon when trying to stop bad guys, but sometimes, the bad guys got the JUMP on him!

Guest star Vincent Van Patten would go on to star in "Baywatch" he played Lt. Stephanie Holden's dermatologist boyfriend.

@spacepatrolman John Parker wrote the music for "Cannon." It was a quite memorable score with the use of the tuba in some of Bill Conrad's scenes. Parker also did the themes from "CHiPs" and "Trapper John M.D."

Ha ha ha The Tuba was denoting his fatness ha ha ha! On the money$$😂 I got a huge kick out of him!😁😂👍he was and still is my boy!😎😉

I used to call this "fat Music" because the tuba made it sound fat.

Anyone else think his theme sounds like a 70s Hanna -Barberra cartoon theme?

+Bessie D. Actually, whenever I hear the first seconds of the old Jonny Quest theme, I can picture the intro to Barnaby Jones in my head.
@cbl19843 жыл бұрын
Nope. I think this sounds great. Shows had great theme songs back then, esp. cop shows!
@amitypredator93853 жыл бұрын
It can sound great and still sound like a cartoon theme though. To me, some of the arrangements fit very well with Yoga bear running through the forest with a picnic basket lol.

A little bit like "The Pebbles and Bamm Bamm Show", particularly the horn arrangement that reminded me of that program. Coincidentally both "Cannon" and "Pebbles & BB" debuted on CBS in September 1971.
