*I love the **Latest.Bike** . The standard seat that cMe with the bike was incredibly uncomfortable, but a quick seat swap made the bike so much more enjoyable.*

You guys need to get some sort of tripod or gimbal. Its crazy how the shots of the rough bike trails are smooth, but stationary discussion shots are shaky as fuck.

2.35 Hans Dampf in the front makes it hold the corners like no body's business! I still keep the Racing Ralph in the rear for most trails.

This is why Giant has droppers on all their Anthems now.

I love mine. I think I'll try a dropper on it.

Yes. All mtb’s need a dropper imo

Mr. Moonboy you have to take off the break to take off the wheel... That doesnt sound much quicker than just sliding out an axle...

Mr.Moonboy it's different for the sake of being different. They claim it's stiffer than regular forks, test are proving it's the same if not less stiff than regular forks. Upside down forks are supposed to be better at keeping seales lubed but i don't see anyone who takes care of their regulars forks having any problems with that. LBS can't service it for you either, expensive purchase and maintenance. Never ridden one but i don't see any reasons why would you choose it over a regular fork...

how does a bike that is capable of running a dropper seat post mean it has an identity crisis??? As a consumer I usually value options.
@thomasroyer25578 жыл бұрын
I totally agree with this statement.....its like his comment has an identity crisis. He makes it sound like a bad thing when in actuality he is saying its a good thing. The fact that Cannondale made this to be "able" to have a dropper post and gave race tires means that you can change it. Both reviewers got irritated with him on this. I think this is my next bike because i would like a race bike and put a dropper on it and still be light as hell. Problem solved.

thomas royer they also didn't highlight all the benefits of a lefty fork beyond just weight savings

thomas royer, i just got mine about a month ago the 2017 si-5(the aluminum base model) and abosolutely love it!! i came from a carbon hardtail and was skeptical about the full suspension and aluminum frame, but this bike is just so impressive. i just did a 10 day trip to North Carolina and rode some of the roughest trails Pisgah has to offer, and this bike performed amazingly
@jaymueller24187 жыл бұрын
Thomas Mitchell There's very little reason to ride a hardtail anymore unless you're on a very smooth XC course or you just happen to enjoy them. Full suspension is a thousand times more fun!

Those new internals... iirc, cannot be serviced at a shop.
@michaelnewman44188 жыл бұрын
Rob Powpowgnargnar Shops can do the work and it is free of charge.
Rob Powpowgnargnar The new 2Spring mentions in the video can be installed at any Cannondale dealer. You need one Lefty specific tool and is pretty easy to do. The dealer then gets a labor credit for doing the work. If you have a fork with the older Solo Air setup you can get the swap done for free - the dealer would just have to order the part for you.

The Cannondale Scalpel Si 3 is actually very reasonable.....I know I'm saying that 5k for a bicycle is reasonable, but in regards to how much the other manufacturers are its a good bike with great components. This is the one i want anyway

Flex LCS have you ever ridden it? Do you have any reasons behind your claims or are they just blatant accusations?
@Nxxi.8 жыл бұрын
If people dont like it then fair enough - however. They are amazing to ride! The 130mm version on the Habit Se from last year was better to ride on than a pike imo....Also, they look cool as F. Though i wish there was a mudgaurd that fitted and it was easier to remove the wheel. Still, i will have a left bike someday soon.

Nicky Howard i run a full size fender on my 26" leftys with no problem, but have to get one for my 29" lefty stil. I run the mudguard under the frame so far.
